Watermelon Baby Carriage

Just wanted to share a little watermelon baby carriage that I made a few days ago for a friend's baby shower. This is not difficult to make but allow about an hour and a half for all the cutting and fruit balling. If you want to save time, you can cut the melon into squares instead of balling it all. I dug out my tools for carving pumpkins this time and they helped a lot. This is the first one that I made with the scallop top and I think it's cuter than a straight edge or using a V-shaped blade. I sheared off the bottom of the melon first to make it sit level. I traced the scallops first before cutting them with one the small pumpkin carving knives. The handle is carved out the piece that comes off. The wheels are held on using two long skewers that go all the way through the width of the melon.

Playing at Wildwood Park

I finished another page in MY scrapbook. This is me, not sure how old, but I can tell from the background that the pictures were taken at Wildwood Park here in Yucaipa.

Baby Shower Card

This is a card that I lifted from somewhere (wish I could remember so I could give them some kudos). Mine's a little different though because the background came out so dark I decided to leave the cutouts white (the one I was copying all the cutouts were inked). Three different Cricut cartridges were used for this one. The embossed paper was cut from a card that came from a box of blank embossed cards that I've had forever and hardly used.

Materials: Stampin' Up Pretty in Pink cardstock, Die Cuts with a View - The Pocket full of Posies Stack with Sparkles - 12x12 Paper Stack, Cricut "A Child's Year" cartridge, Cricut "Heritage" cartridge, Stampin' Up "New Arrival" cartridge, Stampin' Up scallop punch

Father's Day Card

Here's a quick Father's Day Card that I made when a couple friends came over today to make cards.
